The LoDown On Treasure Adventure World
Today on The LoDown, I’ll be providing a game preview for Treasure Adventure World. A remake of Treasure Adventure Game, from Chucklefish & Robit Games. This is a side scrolling puzzle platformer that has a bright cartoony look and feel as far as the art style goes. The music so far is fairly simplistic, but still souds very nice, and fits the style of the game.
The controls can be a bit floaty, and there’s also a mechanic which lets you hook onto cliff sides and rings, which can require a bit of precision due to a small-ish activation/hit bot. This may or not be a way to increase the overall “difficulty” but isn’t much of a problem once you get used to it.
There’s only been a few basic puzzles so far, mainly due to the first 40ish minutes being prodominatly a tutorial, and I can only imagine they get more challenging as I move forward in the game.
Overall I really enjoyed this game, and will be playing more of it to see just how challenging it gets… also I want to get that wish!
